InfoWorld Virtualization Report | VMware Outlines Hardware Requirements for 64-Bit Guest Operating Systems

Make sure you know your 64-bit environment is compatible with VMware if you intend to go that direction. With Exchange 2007 being 64-bit only, production environments like mine will require the upgrade if intending to stay virtual.

VMware is now bursting out of its offices on bucolic Porter Drive in Palo Alto. It will soon begin building a new campus nearby, not far from Stanford University, where its technology originally was developed. VMware, with 1,600 workers worldwide, expects to double in size locally, to 2,000 employees by next year.
