I installed SUSE 10 on my GX280 which took a little time (disabled ACPI for the install). I proceeded to follow theVMware Server Beta Release Notes
which were invaluable. The only "gotcha" was making sure the gcc was installed in SUSE which I did after the fact. Everything loaded without a hitch.
Now I'm in the process of loading Windows Vista 5270 from December as one guest OS and Windows 2003 R2 as another. I'll have to pick up tomorrow so stay tuned.
