virtualization.info: VMware products could gain high availability soon
Alessandro predicts high availability configurations with VMware servers due to a 2004 acquisition. Looking at the presentation for ESX server 3.0, I can see this coming as well.

Hi Kevin,
I attended today a VMware Partner Day in Rome.
During the meeting a VMware Italy technical employee explicitally clarified me that the term "cluster" appearing on ESX 3.0 (and in the VMware World 2005 slides you mentioned) is NOT equal to "host OS High Availability".
So or EMC I'm afraid we should wait some more before having real HSB/HA features in the mainstream product.
